A little amusement

The rainy season will be soon over.
Before full summer comes I cleaned up my veranda and set up the shades.
The veranda is facing the west. So it is exposed to the afternoon sun. Therefore not many flowers can easily survive.
But even a short period of time I like to enjoy looking at seasonal flowers.
And I know they will whither up by the end of summer or in late autumn.

I went to a gardener in the neighborhood to buy young plants of flowers.
A gardener suggested ones that can be stayed in good shape until the late autumn. They are hibiscus (center in a photo), inpachence (left), morning glory and Madagascar periwinkle (front).

I just remembered a little thing. When I lived in Paris my balconies were always full of geranium flowers. In Cairo there were many hibiscus flowers here and there with other plants in my large garden.

Before sunset I wanted to finish the work of putting young plants to the pots.
When the work was done it drizzled down conveniently.
Now the veranda looks nice and waiting for hot summer.
